People with disabilities

In the framework of the Operational Program “Digital Convergence”,  the Library of the Hellenic Mediterranean University proceeded to the creation of a Support Service for Persons with Disabilities using the new technologies.

The purpose of the service is to support print-disabled users in their search, retrieval and use of the printed materials and online resources available to the library, as well as access to the Internet.

The Library participates in the Collaborative Network of Accessible Bibliography for Disabled Persons which operates within the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link and AMElib (Accessible Multi-modal Electronic Library – http://amelib.seab.gr/), which is the first attempt for a collective online public catalog, which documents, based of the international standards, accessible bibliography in Greece.
